This is the inaugural post for The Bombers Sight. I’m just going to rant about the New York Yankees, baseball, and what ever crosses my mind. And just remember, what I write is only my opinion. If you don’t like it, TFB, and read somebody else’s blog.
Believe it or not, we just swept the Red Sox. It puts us slightly closer to Boston (we are five games behind) and in first place of the wild card race. Boston fans might be sweating it, but I don’t think they have any thing to worry about. The way the Yanks have been playing ball I am surprised we are still in the wild card race.
This past Boston series was not without ant stress full moment, especially the last game. I wish I knew what Joba Chamberlain was thinking with those two pitches AT Kevin Youkilis. I am not saying that Joba meant to give Youkilis a message, but it sure looked liked it. And I can understand why Youkilis was pissed; he has been very productive against the Yankees lately. It is just more fuel to the fire for the rivalry – like we need more. Joba should have a one on one talk with Youkilis before this blows out of control – if it hasn’t already. We will see when the Yanks go to Boston in September. Oh happy days are here again!
Last thoughts on the series – Way to go Cano!
