Forgive me father for MLB has sinned, It has been seven months since my last posting.
As of the start of the season, I have placed myself on a year long ban on MLB. This ban consists of not watching, listening, and attending any MLB sponsor event. I refuse to finance MLB in any way possible. I know my small dollar will not have any effect on the big business of MLB, but I have a moral obligation to say no to the inconsistencies of MLB. What sucks about this ban is that it means I will not be visiting Yankees Stadium in its final year. I would love to go back for one last game, but I won’t. I would love to go to the new Nationals stadium in DC (where I live), but I will miss out on the inagural year as well. I guess I will have to settle with visiting the Yankees new stadium next year – that is if I ever return to MLB at all.
I am glad that the Yankees suck this year. It would be hard to watch the World Series with them in it. In the mean time – Go DC United!
